Paige Bueckers still has nine months left in her playing career with UConn women’s basketball.

But the star is already making plans — historic plans — for her future.

Bueckers recently signed a name, image and likeness deal with Unrivaled, the professional 3×3 women’s basketball league created by former Husky stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier. And while Bueckers won’t play in the league until her collegiate career is over in 2026, the partnership makes her the first college athlete to receive ownership equity in a professional league.
