Twelve female athletes will split nearly $14 million as part of a sexual abuse settlement for a lawsuit against USA Water Polo and the International Water Polo Club in California involving their ex-coach, the Associated Press reported.

The athletes allege that both organizations failed to protect them during 2012 to 2017 from former coach Bahram Hojreh’s alleged abuse. The lawsuit’s $13.85 million settlement was filed Friday in Orange County Superior Court. Read More
