USWNT goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris announces retirement

Longtime USWNT goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris announced her retirement from professional soccer at an event in New York City on Monday.

  • Harris was on the 2015 and 2019 World Cup winning squads.
  • Her final appearance with the USWNT came in 2020 during CONCACAF Olympic qualifying, an 8-0 win over Haiti.
  • On the club side, she won goalkeeper of the year in two different leagues: in 2011 with the Western New York Flash of WPS, then in 2016 with the Orlando Pride in the NWSL. Read More
