USA Basketball to name Minnesota Lynx coach/GM Cheryl Reeve next coach of women’s national team, source confirms

USA Basketball will announce its next women’s national team coach on Wednesday, and it will be Minnesota Lynx coach and general manager Cheryl Reeve, a source confirmed to ESPN. The announcement will be at 11 a.m. ET at Target Center in Minneapolis.

USA Basketball CEO Jim Tooley and women’s national team director Briana Weiss will be at the announcement. Weiss took over in October for Carol Callan, who stepped down from that post after 26 years following the Tokyo Olympics but is still president of FIBA Americas. Read More
