Texas A&M head Women’s basketball coach Joni Taylor leads USA team to gold medal

Texas A&M women’s basketball coach Joni Taylor was tasked with leading the USA U19 FIBA World Cup Team this season, and that decision has paid off in the form of a gold medal. Team USA beat host country Spain on Sunday 69-66 to claim gold.

Taylor wins her fourth gold medal in Team USA Basketball, as she also won gold as a head coach for the 2022 U18 FIBA Americas team and as an assistant with the 2022 Women’s National Team and 2021 U19 World Cup team. Read More
