South Carolina’s Aliyah Boston wins Naismith Women’s National Player of the Year

South Carolina star Aliyah Boston was selected as the Naismith Women’s National Player of the Year on Wednesday as the country’s top overall player. She also took home the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year award as well as The Athletic‘s women’s basketball player of the year.

Boston won over Iowa star Caitlin Clark, Stanford junior guard Haley Jones and Baylor senior forward NaLyssa Smith. She joins former Gamecocks star A’ja Wilson as the program’s only winners of the Naismith Trophy. Read More
