With the last pale-yellow traces of sunrise hanging over the track at St. Christopher’s School, Keira D’Amato prepares to run.
It’s 6:37 a.m. on a Thursday in June. The surrounding streets have yet to wake, save for a local running group logging laps around the track and a few people walking their dogs.
