Sha’Carri Richardson Defeats Elaine Thompson-Herah To Win 100M At World Athletics Continental Tour Mee

Competing in her first race in more than two months on Tuesday (August 30), Sha’Carri Richardsondefeated Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah of Jamaica to win the 100 meters at a World Athletics Continental Tour silver meet in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Competing at the Spitzen Leichtathletik meeting, which reportedly presented cool, wet and windy conditions, Richardson ran 11.29 to defeat Thompson-Herah by .01 of a second, according to LetsRun.com. Read More
