New York Liberty become first WNBA team to have NFT collection

The WNBA is dipping its toes into the nonfungible token world. Literally.

On Monday, the New York Liberty announced that they will be the first team in league history to drop nonfungible tokens in the form of digital nail art. The release will be on May 7, the date of the Liberty’s 2022 season opener against the Connecticut Sun and will feature 400 NFTs with similar designs but unique serial numbers. Read More
