Jenni Hermoso files sexual assault complaint against Luis Rubiales

Spanish soccer star Jenni Hermoso filed a formal complaint with the attorney general’s office accusing Spanish soccer federation president Luis Rubiales of sexual assault, prosecutors said Wednesday. Rubiales grabbed and kissed her during the World Cup final trophy ceremony, a kiss she later said was not consensual.

Spain’s High Court prosecutor opened a preliminary investigationAug. 28 into whether Rubiales committed an act of sexual aggression.
