Born into boxing: Caroline Dubois on her journey from disguising as ‘Colin’ to seeking Olympic gold

Caroline Dubois was born with boxing in her blood. She comes from a family with a rich boxing history dating back centuries, but her journey to the top ranks was a fight of its own. At the age of 9 she was forced to disguise herself as a boy named “Colin” to get her foot in the door as boxing gyms didn’t allow girls to train.
