Angel City FC made a promise back in February to reveal the team’s colors, crest, kit and other merchandise by summer 2021. While it took a few extra months, the club debuted their primary kit for the 2022 season on Wednesday, finally checking the last item off their to-do list on the branding front.
A secondary kit is still on the way, but for its primary look, Angel City has aimed for an instant, simple classic by leaning in with all black and hints of the team’s sol rosa color on the crest and sponsor logos, plus a subtle repeating art deco pattern that extends onto the shorts, as well.
