The Washington Spirit on Wednesday announced the addition of a high-profile group of investors representing sports, business and politics, including Chelsea Clinton and Jenna Bush Hager.
The daughters of former U.S. presidents were joined by 40 other new investors, including Olympians (Dominique Dawes and Briana Scurry), a former U.S. senator (Tom Daschle), an Obama White House spokesman (Jay Carney) and his wife (TV journalist Claire Shipman) and Michael Jordan’s longtime business manager (Estee Portnoy).
